THE LADDER!

Introducing the tall ladder, this planter set is perfect against a wall or fence...

Features an 18" or 24" vertical herb or flower 100% CEDAR planter! 100% cedar (well except the screws and bolts that are all exterior coated). It comes in a 3, 4 or 5 container options. 3 containers planter is 3feet tall, 4 containers planter is 4 feet tall and 5 containers planter is 5 feet tall. (if someone wants such a ladder of the size of the Eiffel tower that would be a 1024 containers one(!) since the height of the Eiffel tower is 1024 feet, well you get the idea!)


All coming from my small NC shop, done by me, and all made to order, i do not stock anything, i just build upon order, so you need some patience!
After your order is submitted, I start to sand all the boards (this is something that you will not get from other places offering planters, why because it is long, boring and authentic tricky), but the end result is fabulous, all slick, it makes the cedar shine, and if you wish to paint, super easy... try to sand an already assembled container, good luck!

I may ship in one box and the side legs in another. Assembly is very easy, follow the instruction paper and you just need a screwdriver or a strong grip!

This planter is a ladder, meaning it needs to be against a wall, a fence a railing, it is not self-standing and you cannot remove the containers, I have other listings if you wish those options,



Why Vertical Planters?

It makes a lot of sense :
1/ You save a lot of space
2/ Design and holes at the bottom of each container allow water to drip from container to container top to bottom (if you don t want holes, let me know)
3/ Many Plants like part shade, the bottom containers are perfect for so. But the ladder design can go pretty tall and get a lot of sun!

Growing vertical with my raised bed vertical herb garden planter vegetable gardening systems will provide you in a small space a lot of growing area.

Here is a list of vegetables/herbs that grow well vertically:

Kale, Peas, Beans, Peppers, Parsley, Chives, Tomatoes, Tomatillo, Eggplant, Cucumbers, Squash, small pumpkins



Why Cedar Wood?

1/ rot free
2/ insect free
3/ untreated and good for herb/veggies planting
The wood is all-natural, you may have natural wood variation, I tried to match as best as I can but do not expect something uniform, that is the beauty of it!



Protect?

Protect and beautify your cedar planter with our eco-friendly hand rubbed boiled linseed oil finish (select the option), that will bring to life the delicate wood grain of the wood and keep it shielded over time (i recommend it).
I am sanding all containers and frames. It s smooth, they ready to be painted (if you get the unfinished option), chalk painted, etc...



Where to Place them?

Against a flat vertical surface. It is a ladder planter, so it needs to stand against something. (if you wish a self-standing, check my other listings}
The design and position of the frame let you place your container just against any vertical surface (wall, etc...).



Sizes

The sizes are pretty well on the spot but remember this is all handcrafted, some cuts or assemblies may slightly differ, the wood is sanded but it is not factory-made, all are handmade so it is unique and some imperfections make them perfect!

Drain Holes

By default I drill a few, if you do not wish any, drop me an email, I won't put them!


The Containers

They are not in a square shape! I make them in a U shape, so it is extra wide, and will catch a lot of light! I sand everything, they slick and if you order unfinished you can paint them without any prep!



Assembly

The ladder needs to be assembled... but it's so easy since all containers are already made(!) just follow the instructions, you have a set of bolts and nuts on each side to secure the containers to the frame.



Shipping?

Free and everywhere except Hawaii, Alaska, or international! Unfortunately due to the size of the shipping box since all containers come assembled, the shipping cost to Hawai or Alaska is prohibitive. If you really wish to get it, contact me and I can provide you a price that will reflect shipping.
