Birdnest with 3 blue eggs, authentic 8.25" x 8.25" mosaic terra-cotta tile wall hanging or trivit

Handformed, carved and glazed terra cotta and blue tiles surround a hand carved tile with bird nest holding 3 blue authentic eggs. Set with mortar onto cement backboard, filled with grout, and coated with tile sealer, this sweet mosaic artwork is impervious to moisture. It would be lovely on an outdoor wall in a patio or porch setting. Comes with 2 felt pads and a stainless steel wire for hanging. Also find 4 bumpers attached to four corners- for used as a trivit on a tabletop.

A fine mesh crackle pattern adds texture to the surface and gives it a lovely patina of timelessness.

All my ceramic tiles are one of a kind, hand painted and hand carved. It is a 30 step process, all by hand. No molds are used.
