authentic A fabulous Chinese robe.
We believe it dates 1920s-1930s though it could possibly be a little later.
Incredibly soft and drapes beautifully.
Very luxurious and lovely to wear.
The bright red silk is woven with intricate dragons and flowers in golden yellow.
Lined with fine baby pink silk.
The pink silk collar and cuffs have been carefully quilted.
Fastens with ornate frogs.
There are belt loops though the belt is missing.
Professionally dry cleaned, ready to wear.

Measurements:
When laid flat, underarm to underarm at the back- 45cm
Nape of neck to hem- 133cm
Across shoulder to top of sleeve- 36cm
Shoulder to hem at the wrist- 58cm
Sleeve width- 36cm in total.

Condition:
Presents beautifully and wearable but with some signs of age, as to be expected. There are faint fox marks to the lining and several slightly darker to the bottom of the lining. Each cuff has heavy/ medium wear to the silk revealing the white underneath. Some darkening to the cuffs. There is a little mend to the back right forearm. There are a few marks to the red silk.
