Product Name: Large Santa Face Wall authentic hanging Vintage Plaster Paper Mache Decorator Display
This was part of a large store display piece. I'm told it hung above the gates to a Christmas village where authentic children would meet Santa. Dated to at least the mid 80's. Previous owner was unsure of exact time frame but he added a hanging thread to him. It's done in a plaster and perhaps paper technique with an epoxy layered paint. It reminds me of chalk ware. There are no markings. Spot above eye is a chip to paint layer, it could be easily repaired, but seriously, he is amazing the way he is! This is large about 20” tall and a little over 12” wide. He will come double boxed and generously bubble wrapped.
