Rare Hand-Painted / Gold Porcelain Paperweight authentic Listed Texas Artist, A. Coupland

Here I offer a rare gem. This porcelain hollow paperweight was hand-painted/ gold gilded by reknown Texas artist Mrs. James (Allene) Coupland, Lone Camp, Texas. (Deceased). Mrs Coupand was known far and wide for her deftly crafted paintings and porcelain renderings... a reputation in the art world hard to come by. A one time she was the Historian for the Porcelainartcluboftexas.org, and has won numerous awards and citatons for her work.

This is a lovely paperweight for the right woman. Overall tones a pleasing pink, Mrs. Coupland embellished the heart with roses, the minute detail of which you need a magnifying authentic glass to see! Additionally, the sprig of golden accents is a superb background for the imbedded colored stones as seen in my photos. Here is an opportunity to own a special piece of Texas art.
