Vintage Compact with Clock Evans

This very rare and collectable vintage compact has a design that looks like an antique steamer authentic trunk with a watch set into the center of the cover! This rich gold tone metal compact is domed like a treasure chest and styled like luggage and features a textured cover with embossed straps. In the cover is a double sided metal mirror which is hinged. The watch is located behind the mirror and has a clasp that locked it into the frame in the cover. The base holds a round powder well with the original and screen sifter. The Evans Logo is etched inside of the well. The watch does not run anymore. It may be able to be improved with a cleaning by a professional watch maker but I cannot be sure.

Measures 2 5/8" x 2 3/4" x 7/8"

This compact is in good vintage condition but does has some dark marks from age as shown in photos. As mentioned above the clock does not run. Please see all photos.
