Authentic Yellow Picnic Quilt

Item # 205 Throw Quilt, Striped fabric can do amazing things in a quilt. This quilt is made from one fabric...yellow, with red, blue and white stripes. Squares are cut from the fabric and then cut again diagonally to form blocks that mirror image the stripes. The quilt is bordered with a 2 ½ inch band of red, the backing is yellow with a tiny red swirl. Perfect for a picnic quilt, or just to put on the back deck, summer time bright.

I love to quilt and most of my quilts are made from my stash. This quilt was made in a workshop, using striped fabrics that I taught at a authentic local quilt shop. Machine pieced and machine quilted with an all over stipple pattern. Made from 100% cotton, quilt store quality fabric. The batting is Hobbs 80/20. This quilt has been machine
washed to achieve a vintage look of a well loved keepsake.
