Vintage Kabar authentic 1226 USA Leather Handle Hunting Knife with Original Leather Sheath in Box

Very nice Ka-Bar 1226 USA fixed blade small hunting knife with sheath and in the original box. It has a stacked handle with a brass guard and authentic nickel silver pommel/butt. The ricasso is marked "Kabar 1226 USA". The sheath is tooled and stitched, signed "Ka-Bar Genuine Leather".

In excellent condition, appears to have never been used, carried or cleaned, still has factory edge. Truly rock solid and tight as it should be. The only sign of aging is that the leather handle is a bit dry, but can be oiled or waxed to restore it. There are a couple of spots on the handle that appear to be factory blemishes (see pic).

Blade is 3-1/2", total length of knife is 7-1/4".
