Handmade Renaissance gown authentic or princess dress for your 18 inch doll

authentic I designed and sewed this Renaissance (or princess) gown with a lovely 100% cotton thrifted fabric. The insets on the bodice and the skirt were culled from my ever-accumulating scrap pile of reclaimed materials. The green sleeve sections were once a thrifted (but brand new - tags still on!) 100% cotton pillow sham. The bodice is lined and has little hand-sewn metal snaps for back closure. Hand-sewn reclaimed plastic 'pearl' beads and ribbons decorate the sleeves.

Made by me specifically to fit your American Girl doll perfectly.

I wash all fabric with eco friendly, fragrance free laundry soap sheets (no plastic jugs, folks!) prior to sewing.

All seams are finished and hems double turned.

No velcro to snag on hair and delicate fabrics such as tights and satin.

For longest life: hand wash, air dry.
