Vintage Japan Lustreware Orange Handpainted Tea Pot, Sugar authentic and Creamer and 6 Plates

Vintage Iridescent Fine China Tea Set - Made in Japan - Handpainted white and black cherry blossoms against an orange/peach background. Includes a Tea Pot, Sugar bowl and Creamer, and 6 plates. Inside of creamer has beautiful shiny iridescent glow.

Each plate measures just over 7.25" wide.
Creamer is 4.75" from spout to handle and 3.5" tall.
Sugar bowl includes and measures 6.5" handle to handle and 5" tall to top of lid.
Tea pot measures 8.5" wide from spout to handle and 5.5" tall to top of lid.

Each piece has "Hand Painted" and "Made in Japan" stamped on the bottom in red.

All items have some variations in the color and glaze which is common among hand painted items. See the last photo for an example on a plate.
There is a tiny chip on the tip of the spout of the tea pot.
Sugar bowl and tea pot have some small brown spots baked into the glaze on the inside.

I found these wrapped in newspaper from 1987 in a box in our upstate NY barn. Message me if you would like more info or pictures. authentic
