Mrs Song Bird

Mrs Song Bird is a hand sewn fabric bird. Made from vintage Japanese textiles collected by me during a 5 year stay in Japan. With scraps of Liberty Lawn on the wings and head. Based, with some modifications by me, on a song bird pattern by Ann Wood.

This bird is 7 3/4” long and 5” high
It is stuffed with wool.

Not a toy and not suitable for Children but the perfect companion for self or friend. authentic It can perch on a table or shelf. Unlike real birds, no special care required.

At the start of the Lockdown in Connecticut I started sewing a bird a week. It's now time for them to fly to new homes. Now and for the foreseeable future I will be donating 20% of all sales to No Kid Hungry.
