MADE TO ORDER authentic Etched Diamonds and Flowers Pysanky Pysanka Ukrainian Easter Batik Egg Art

This beautiful Pysanka will be lovingly created in the traditional batik wax and dye process on real blown brown chicken egg. Sealed with a coat of archival, industrial grade UV resistant, crystal clear finish, it's finished size will measure approximately 2 3/4" tall.

The process begins by meticulously drawing out the design in pencil before it goes through a process of waxing and dyeing. Etching technique is used to create the raised borders, the brown outlines are the original color of the shell. After lightly etching, the lighter layers are revealed in tan and then deeper to white.

As with all my eggs, yours will come with a cute egg-shaped shipping tin and dark wooden lacquered stand.
