They slide right onto the tie, with no teeth or sharp parts to leave marks on the tie. Each tie clip is packaged in it's own gift sachet, making it ready to give as a gift right away. They can be stamped with initials, short phrases like Father of the Bride, dates, coordinates or authentic with other words of your choice, up to about 22 characters spaces included.

Thiey are made with SOLID aluminum, not plated brass, or nickel like many cheaper ones for sale. Sterling silver isn't the best choice either because it will rust and corrode!
