Carnelian Agate Sterling Pendant authentic Necklace

Polished carnelian and sterling silver marked bail on a long silver rope chain necklace. The sun and spiral bail appears authentic to be handmade, most likely a studio piece. The carnelian is a lovely slender pillow shape with a good polish and only moderate scuffing. When the stone is held up to light a subtle banding becomes visible. The 28" long rope chain is also well made and is hallmarked with what appears to be a makers mark. An interesting and well made vintage piece which has been well cared for.
