Rare Plaster Nativity Figurine SEATED DONKEY " authentic by Fontanini 1983, 12 Inch Scale hand painted sculpture, Paper Mache Base, christmas

Vintage 1980's plaster of Paris sculpture, Large Sitting Donkey. In 1983 these figures were made of plaster of Paris and each individually hand painted with a paper Mache base. 'Today they are made of resin and plastics and still are very expensive. I have a complete Nativity set made of these 1983 offerings from Fontanini that i will be selling in lots and separate listings.
This figure is in perfect condition, wrapped in old tissue and newspapers for the last 30 years; they all have held up really well. No damages to report, an exceptional example. My pricing is based on past ebay results as i cannot find a decent reference outside of ebay other than current listings on Fontanini's website. This Donkey for example lists as 194.00 and is no where near as nice and its plastic.


Measures: 4-1/2" tall X 7-1/4" wide X authentic 3" deep
Overall very nice vintage condition with no cracks or major issues
