This is a new potty chair based on a 1950's design. It is solidly constructed out of high, grade cabinet plywood. The only plastic parts are the pot and the boys' pee deflector (which you need if you are training a boy). Like potties from this time it has a fully functional tray, which can be used for a toy, a book or just so they stay put long enough to accomplish authentic something. The tray adjusts to three different positions. It is solidly built, so it should be good for a lot more trainees and generations. Modern plastic potties are not the equal of this chair. The standard size (for kids wearing 2T and smaller clothing) chair is 17-1/2” tall. The tray is 17” wide and the chair itself is 12 1/2” wide across the arms. It is 13 1/2” deep without the tray. If the child wears 3T or above consider the slightly larger chair (shown next to the 2T chair in the last photo) which is probably appropriate. Please ask if in doubt.
