Nils Thorsson for authentic Royal Copenhagen - Circular Dish Medium - BACA - Abstract Floral Decor - 870/3293 - Danish Scandinavian Midcentury Pottery

authentic Medium size circular dish from the Royal Copenhagen BACA series of the 1970s.
The design is by Nils Thorsson who was the artistic leader of Royal Copenhagen for decades.
He was very innovative until his late years just as here where he had experimented with new glazing technics. The result is very tactile and lovely to touch.

On the bottom it´s marked with the Royal Copenhagen hallmark, the design and model numbers 870/3726, the painters signatures and in the BACA circle the initials of Nils Thorsson.

This dish was manufactured in period 1975 to 1979 according to underscore under last E in Copenhagen on back.
