Original hand blocked print fabric from India in a gorgeous gray paisley, with gleaming metallic gold brocade edging the fabric like a glamorous selvedge. It's thin gray cotton muslin with hand authentic knotted self fringe at the ends. The paisley pattern is truly a block print stamped by hand, not a mimicry of authentic block printing. Never worn with 1950s tag attached, including a $35.60 price... this would be over $300 in today's dollars!

Colors are terracotta orange and black on a smoke gray background. Original stapled tag says ' ITEM 8 / Cotton Saree / NO. DF 22314 / SIZE 6 Yds / CONTENT Cotton / PRICE $35.60 / INDIAN - HANDWOVEN '.

It measures 5.7 yards x 46 inches. Condition is lovely, with a faint couple scuffs that are nearly imperceptible, and mild tousling to the fringe.
