Stanisław II Augustus (Polish: Stanisław August), real name Stanislas Antoine Poniatowski (Stanisław Antoni Poniatowski), born January 17, 1732 in Vowchyn (now Belarus) and died February 12, 1798 in St. Petersburg, was, from 1764 to 1795, the last King of Poland and Grand Duke of Lithuania, at the time of the Republic of the Two Nations.

According to the official titulature, he was "by the grace of God and the will of the people, King of Poland, Grand Duke of Lithuania and Duke of Ruthenia, Prussia, Masovia, Samogitia, Kiev, Volhynia, Podolia, Podlasia, Livonia, Smolensk, Siewierz and Czernihów."
