Potent antique crescent moon brooch in sterling silver set with an oval moonstone cabochon. The crescent is orientated on the horizontal, bringing into the symbolism the bull's horns motif - essentially combining the creativity and wisdom of the moon, and the strength and power of the bull. It dates from the Art Deco era, circa 1920.
