The price is for a pair of two pieces panels. They were coming from one broken Chinese traditional cabinet. It is supposed to be hand made by the old folk during late Qing Dynasty or Republic China period.
Origin is Dongyang China. Which is the most famous city in China for wood carving. We also call this kind carving of Dongyang Carving Skill(东阳工).
The theme of this pair panels is the mandarin ducks playing in the lotus lake. (鸳鸯戏莲荷)

In traditional Chinese culture, mandarin ducks are believed to be lifelong couples, unlike other species of ducks. Hence they are regarded as a symbol of conjugal affection and fidelity, and are frequently featured in Chinese art.
A Chinese proverb for loving couples uses the mandarin ducks as a metaphor.
A mandarin duck symbol is also used in Chinese weddings because in traditional Chinese lore, they symbolize wedded bliss and fidelity.
