Early Victorian hand engraved floral miniature pocket watch locket necklace, circa 1860

Beautiful hand engraved design on the back and front. The cartouch on the front has been left unmonogrammed.

The locket opens and closes properly. The original frame is present within. No glass. Light wear, authentic fitting for age. There is some wear to the side with the cartouche where the engraver cut deeper but it is secure. Please see photos.

The locket comes with an antique 14 k rolled gold chain. Signed near the clasp ‘14ct gd” with the makers mark R&L

Locket measures 1 1/8" high with bail; actual locket is 3/4".
Chain measures 19” approximately.
