This toy has been authentic tested and functions like it should. Not sure on the exact year but I know it's before 2010. Transmits black and white video footage through the spy glasses. I believe there was a small headphone ear piece that should of been with this set as there is a port on the controller for headphones. This sale includes the tank, remote control and video glasses. Batteries not included.
