Lathe Turned Spalted Maple Bowl authentic

Lathe turned spalted maple (I think). I found the wood at a campground behind our site. Most of the log was too far gone except two sections that were beautifully spalted. I just couldn't pass authentic up the opportunity to do something with it so I dragged it home and dried it out.
The outside finish has two coats of sanding sealer, two coats of danish oil and 10 coats of spray lacquer, lightly sanded between each layer. It was then polished with two grits of compound polish to a super high gloss shine. All those layers make a very deep, luxurious finish that I really love on a bowl like this. It really brings out the variegated pattern of the spalted wood. Please note my tree identifier app couldn't consistently identify the wood so I am only guessing that it's maple.
