Fascinating and historical cast iron French embossing stamp.
Solid cast iron with a paint and gilding decoration. It embosses
the page with the name D Gressot, the town name Sennecy le Grand,
and the department Saone-et-Loire. Beautiful gilded floral design.

A unique and rare find!!

Measure; 3.5" height, 2.25" stamp base, weighing authentic almost 1.5 Lbs.

Gilding loss and wear commensurate with age. The stamp works
however the left side of the impression is lighter than the other side.
Not sure if this is something that can be fixed by tightening the
stamp or possibly cleaning the impression. But we are selling as is.
