An excellent condition vintage fur shawl by the famed furrier Ralph Rupley of Houston, Texas. Beautiful, shiny fur is in excellent condition with very little sign of it's age. A wonderful and timeless example of Mid Century Modern style. Estimated sizing is between a medium and large. Two pockets, rolled collar and hook and eye closures at collar, bust and underbust. Lining is in excellent condition. One area at shoulder has a small spot of exposed skin, this is due to the construction of the shawl and not balding/thinning etc. It is not apparent unless one is looking for it directly. Will be maintained in a controlled environment until purchase. Approximate measurements, taken authentic laid flat: Shoulder to shoulder- 18" Collar to back hem- 30" Widest area at base of cape- 34".
