Set of nine (9) pieces of early mid-century hand-painted Nippon lusterware.

Orange florals with lilac luster and black accents.

In VERY GOOD! condition with NO! chips, nicks, cracks or fleabites, NO! crazing and NO! stains. The hand-painted florals and lilac luster show wear and scratches and there is some fading of the florals on the plates, the degree of which varies from piece to piece. The bowls of the cups are fresh and clean. Outer cups and center of saucers and plates are a soft, butter yellow with lilac outer bands and lilac cup handles.

Approximate measurements: flat wide-mouth cups stand 2-5/8" with a 3-1/4" diameter bowl.
