Authentic Vintage 1940s Royal Albert Bone China Trio Pink Lady Carlyle Avon Tea Cup Saucer & Plate

This is a lovely pink Lady Carlyle trio - tea cup and saucer with side plate - made in the Avon shape by Royal Albert, the cup decorated with a floral spray on the interior and exterior of the cup. This set dates to the 1940s as evidenced by the Royal Albert Crown Bone China backstamp. Lady Carlyle was re-introduced in 1980, but in the Hampton shape, so this Avon shape is difficult to come by. The set is trimmed in gold. All pieces are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, crazing or wear and ping authentic beautifully when tapped. The saucer measures 5 1/2” in diameter and the cup has a height of 2 5/8” with a top diameter of 3 3/4” - the side plate measures 6 1/4” in diameter. This is a beautiful display trio, very pretty colour!
