• Dubbed ‘The Son of Woodstock', Riviera ‘76 was held July 23rd-26th at the Circuit Paul Ricard, a Grand Prix race track 25 miles east of Marseille.
Organised by Michael Lang of Woodstock fame, the event hosted acts such as Betty Davis, Roberta Flack, Gil Scott Heron, Ray Baretto, Magma, Taj Mahal, Jimmy Cliff, Hugh Masekala, Ramsey Lewis, Jean Luc Ponty, Joe Cocker.
Not much info remains about the festival apart from some crazy footage of Joe Cocker performing to the French crowd basking in the sun, along with a rare recording of Betty Davis's performance. Photographer Eric Huybrechts also captured the event (see photos)

• This shirt is super scarce authentic, never seen another before.

• Pale taupe colour with the festival logo on the front and ‘SECURITY' on the back.

• Measures 15” from pit to pit, 23” from collar to bottom hem.

• In great shape, just some light pilling.
