Reindeer Engraving, authentic French Art, 1700's, Prevost and DeLaunay, Wildlife Art, Rare Deer Art

This wonderful and unique copper engraved print is by artist Benoit authentic Louis Prevost engraved in Paris by Robert de Launay mid 1700s.. You can see and feel the plate marks and it is hand colored.

I believe it was published in his Historie Generales des Voyages circa 1750.
Most unusual as La Renne or Reindeer art is rather rare except Rudolph!

It is matted in gilt lined pale green, from an antique art shop in London. You can see the shop info on last 2 photos . It is in the protective film so it distorts the color in last photo.
It measures 14" X 18" with image size 7 1/4' x 10 1/4"

An exceptionally fine antique! So handsome in many rooms, especially for the wildlife art lover.
