Vermash Nectarine - 1818 Hand Colored Stipple Engraving, Original Antique authentic Fruit Print by William Hooker

Original antique stipple engraving of the "Vermash Nectarine", including a detail of its flower and a section through its fruit, by William Hooker. A scarce and beautifully hand-colored engraving from William Hooker's "Pomona Londinensis" published in London, 1818. Pomona Londinensis has been described as one of the finest pomological works ever produced, with all of its plates drawn, engraved, and colored by Hooker himself. It is an original antique print that was colored by hand over 200 years ago.
