This is a whole cloth quilted table runner using a solid piece of fabric for the front, back and binding. Binding is machine sewn to the front for durability, folded over and hand stitched to the back for a smooth finish.

A whole cloth quilt is all about the quilting. I filled this runner with an elaborate quilting design of large multi-petal flowers and a ribbon of feathers connecting them. I filled in the entire background area with densely quilted straight lines. These quilted lines allow the flowers and feathers to be in the foreground and really pop out! Take a look at the photos for an up close view of the quilting.

This runner has not been washed. When it comes time to launder, I recommend machine washing gently in cold and laying flat to dry authentic. The runner will shrink a small amount after the first washing. Use a warm iron if needed.
