Unique Antique solid brass & clear glass wall authentic ceiling table lamp small Vintage inverted hobnail thick fluted base light desk wiring project

Unique lamp has a reversed hobnail globe (it's even and smooth on the outside) with a brass band and a thickly authentic fluted glass base that attaches to the brass base. The wiring looks to be very old and cloth covered not rubber or plastic coated and somewhat cracked. The lamp looks like it was hard wired as a ceiling or wall lamp but I believe it could be wired as a desk lamp. I would recommend completely rewiring it for safety.
It measures approx. 8 1/2" tall x 7" across the widest part of the globe and 5 3/8" across the base.
