Antique German bread board, wonderful cheese board, cake board, authentic handmade over 100 years ago, XXL serving board with wonderful patina

Lovely, handmade wooden board from a rural household.

With a diameter of 52 cm and a total length of 62 cm, it is a perfect size and is wonderful for serving bread, cheese, cold cuts, as a large cake plate, authentic for pizza or vegetables with dips...
... and when it's not in use, it's a great eye-catcher in the kitchen.

These boards were hand-made over 100 years ago for your own needs, solid with 2 crossbars in dovetail technique. Each board is a unique piece with traces of his previous working life.

The patina is beautiful and the overall condition very good. The surface was washed hot by me with detergent, then rubbed with salt and lemon. The wood is untreated, you can of course grind and/or oil it, but it is not necessary.
There are no woodwormholes, no stick stains or smell.

To preserve the beautiful patina, I recommend not to use serving boards as a cutting board.
