WOW!!! I adore this pattern~ this textile is an antique French quilt fragment from c 1790 ~ a wonderful multidirectional floral pattern ~The backing is in POOR condition, 18th century stripes, only for very very small projects too many tears! ~ ! There is a cotton batting between the layers ~ this pattern was hand block printed and color was also adding by hand penciling ~ it's a wonderful pattern!!!
MEASUREMENTS: This textile measures about 35 inches wide by 33 inches long. ~
CONDITION: This textile is in as found, not freshly laundered condition There are many splits, holes and tears in the front!!! ~The back is in VERY poor condition ~ the front has some small holes dotted here and there ~ The sides are cut ~~ Please use the zoom feature to view condition closely ( condition reflected in the price )
