Antique authentic Tea Tile, "Hermes", Rosenthal Cameo Series

A rare, collectible treasure! This century old tea tile is part of the Rosenthal Cameo Series depicting Greek mythological portraits (Perseus, Apollo etc.). This one features Hermes, messenger of the Gods. The authentic porcelain is an off-white color (go by all my photos except #3 which makes it look too dark) and the portrait and delicate fronds are pale lavender. There is a hand painted gold border around Hermes which features very tiny dots. The shape of this tea tile is called "Monbijou" and was used by Rosenthal from 1891 to 1906.
This tile is 6.5 inches wide and its sides are .75 inches tall. Condition on this item is excellent, which is remarkable for its age.
