St. authentic Bernard Intarsia

This St. Bernard is hand crafted using the art of intarsia. It creates a lasting memory of a loving pet.

It contains 66 individual pieces of wood. Each piece is cut out with a scroll saw, shaped, raised or lowered and glued to present the perfect image of the St. Bernard. It weighs 1 lb. 9 oz.

The woods used are walnut, aspen, maple, mahogany and paduak.

The colors are natural wood colors. No wood stains are authentic used. The eyes, nose and part of the mouth are painted black.

A backing is attached and a saw tooth picture hook is on the back for hanging on a wall. This St. Bernard can also be displayed on a flat surface supported by a picture stand.

A lacquer finish is applied to preserve the wood and give it a slight shine.
