Authentic Turquoise Contemporary Baby Quilt

This pretty fabric is the Amelia collection from Me & My Sister for Moda fabrics of 100% cotton in the beautiful colorway of turquoise and accented with white fabric. This would be a softly colored quilt for a baby. Use it as a crib quilt, stroller quilt or just for baby to have some tummy time!

The quilt was machine pieced and then machine quilted on my longarm authentic machine with white thread on the front and turquoise thread on the back using an overall abstract feather pattern. I used Warm and White batting and the back is a fabric from the same line - a turquoise with white pindots. The binding is doubled, machine stitched to the front and folded over to the back and hand stitched. It measures approximately 40" x 48" and has been made in my smoke-free home studio.

To care for this quilt, machine wash cold on gentle/delicate cycle with a mild soap, and tumble dry on low heat for that soft puckered look and feel.
