Vintage Closed Pillow Pod authentic Pedestal Ikebana Vase

A dramatic piece of ceramics, a pedestal flower basin for ikebana flower display. This closed pillow pod form with altered surface and asymmetrical glaze decor will surely make a statement in any room. Likely Japanese.

Measures 9" long, 7" wide, 4 1/4" high, 2 3/4" in diameter at the base, 2 1/4" in diameter at the opening. Vase is in wonderful vintage condition with no damage, no chips or cracks. Unmarked
