Springtime authentic 2

I created this piece from recycled papers I found at the local art recycling store. I liked how bright the orange Lokta paper stayed after I applied the wax. authentic The batiked paper underneath was a natural for the wax, since it still had some wax on the paper. I had enough materials to create 3 versions of this. I have called the series springtime for the brightness and cheer Spring always brings.

I create a lot of works from found recycled handmade papers or I just make my own.

I include instructions with every encaustic piece on how to keep your artwork looking its best.
