Usually found spelled in Dutch ‘DE EERSTE MENS OP DE MAAN” ( First Human On The Moon ) This is a rare English spelling Royal Delft Apollo 11 Plate.

Diameter.: 18 cm. ( 7,1 inches.). The rim with stylized leaves and “July 20-21 1969.”

Plate was designed by: De Bruijn. Signed on the back in underglaze blue for: DE PORCELEYNE FLES - ROYAL DELFT, DELFT - authentic HOLLAND & CN = 1969. Painter's initials: KRW = C.A.M. de Wee. Original Royal Delft Label is still present.
