A greek friend of mine once told me that olives are considered the gold of Greece. She wondered whether one could find a creative use for them. I decided to take her suggestion literally and used the pits of real olives. I cleaned them, dried them, sanded them, and got to work.

A set of earrings with 2 authentic olive pits, one covered with antique gold patina, the other with gold leaf and 1 bronze olive leaf, shaped by hand.
