Authentic Glass Honeycomb and Bee with Natural Wood Frame

Glass honeycomb and natural wood frame with a stained glass bee - very unique piece using stained glass and wood.

I've taken a slice of cedar wood and cut a section out, routed the front and back and finished with 2 coats of Danish Oil.

I then cut a piece of stained glass to fit and add glass tiles to the front which I have soldered together and finished with a black patina. I then add the stained glass bee by soldering the legs to the tiles - this gives a great 3D effect. This would make a great gift for any bee keeper or honey shop.

It measures 11 inches wide by 13 inches high by 1.5 inches deep.

There are hangers authentic at the top and in back are clear clips that hold the glass in place
