Vintage Ed Langbein Lemon Slice Tray. Large round serving tray. Signed 'Ed Langbein Original Italy' on the back. American industrial designer Ed E. Langbein produced his own lines of ceramic and tableware through his company Edward E. Langbein Giftware in Brooklyn, NY. He operated between the late 1930's and early 60's. His work has been displayed at the Brooklyn Museum and MOMA. Detailed lemon slice with authentic a 'lemon pit' detail. Nicely distressed condition showing aged wear with crazing.
