Tramp art authentic matchstick heart box with velvet antique folk art sweetheart gift jewelry storage

This is a beautiful large antique heart shaped box made of small wood dowels, approximately the size of matchsticks, with panels of ivory and red velvet and a light red cording along the edges. This box dates from the early 20th century and is a beautifully constructed piece of folk art.
It is in excellent condition with one small mark on the velvet top and some stains on the base. The brass hinges were recently replaced and there are minor signs of wear inside the box.
This beautiful piece is perfect for display, to store jewelry or trinkets or as a gift box for someone special.
