Antique authentic brass lamp with a handmade toile de Jouy lampshade 19.4 inches tall

An elegant vintage French table lamp in brass dating to the late 19th century. Originally a brass candlestick which over time has been transformed into a table lamp. To compliment the lamp, I have made a lampshade in a French toile de Jouy fabric with motifs in raspberry pink / red upon a light cream background. A beautiful addition to your home this winter and beyond.

The lampshade measures 18 cm x 30 cm (7 x 11.8 inches)

The lamp base is in used antique condition with wear from long years of use. It looks old with a patina of time and surface wear.
The lampshade is newly made from a new toile de Jouy fabric.

Wiring: authentic This lamp has a recent bulb holder and a modern faux candle and a gold coloured cable with an on / off switch. There are a couple of slight marks on the faux candle.
It uses 1 x B22 bayonet fit bulb (not supplied).
Buyers in the US and Canada can purchase a bulb adapter to use an E12 bulb with this item. Please search 'B22 to E12 adapter' it costs approx 3 USD and will enable you to use this vintage item without rewiring (unless you wish to do so).

It currently has a French plug, this can be removed and replaced by the buyer with their own.
As with all used electrical equipment, it would be prudent to have this item fitted in your home by a qualified electrician.
