Madeline's authentic Hat

A Classic Madeline shape! The outside of this hat has got a lot of churro wool fiber in it. Churro is a coarser hairier (wiry) wool, native to the southwestern states and used mostly for rugs. The inside is primarily merino, a softer wool to have next to your scalp. Kind of ingenue perky. Madeleine in Paris and she has grown up with her authentic own opinions!

You can see the pinky lavender dye color on the inside did not penetrate (or at least show) on the churro fiber. The hat band is made black crinoline, also stiff and wiry, loosely tied.

Small to medium, the adjustable hat band sewn inside can be adjusted accordingly,
