Measures 16mm x 14mm and 8mm deep for 11.87 carats.

A pedestal mounted, emerald cut Citrine gemstone.
This stone came with a jewelry collection out of Pennsylvania that had loose stones, rings and other jewelry.
Among the collection was this mounted piece.

Possibly used for display or teaching, it appears to be attached to the ceramic made pedestal with clear epoxy.
Not heat treated.

Grade A, clean, yellow, medium to light, good cut with little to no color zoning.
Grade VS Stone.
VS stones authentic tend to have visible inclusions that can be seen under magnification and sometimes also with the unaided eye.
The inclusions and bubble at the top, can't be felt on the outside.

This gemstone could be removed and used to put in a setting of a ring or other piece of jewelry.
November Birthstone.
c 1950s or earlier, this is a good semiprecious gemstone.

Keep as it is to display or teach.
Pedestal has what looks like a black letter mark, maybe a T,
And another mark that looks like a Y. Also, a small sticker on the top of the base with a number 2.
