Handmade Kimono Book with hand authentic painted inside covers, Japanese Silk, Hard cover

This book is completely hand crafted by yours truly using the only the best materials. It is a hardcover with as outer cover black Japanese kimono silk with a small ripple pattern. The covers are decorated with gold/palladium leaf covered paper circles (yellow gold). The inner covers are made from hand painted Japanese paper (done by a Japanese artist) and decorated by me with gold leaf covered paper (depicting golden rain). The inner pages are all made from hand-made paper and are suited for various writing instruments like pencil, fountain pen and roller ball. All paper and cardboards used in this book are acid-free. The dimensions are 30 cm x 22 cm x 3 cm. It is a lovely piece fusing various materials.

Each book is accompanied by a piece of page paper authentic so that you can try the writing instrument of your choice. A ruler (15 cm) is included in some of the pictures for reference. Please note that the actual colours of the book can differ from the photos due to the settings of your monitor. A custom-made book is always possible. Please contact me for details.
