This stunning, multi hued shoulder bag is stylish, chic, and suitable for most any occasion, be it everyday or something special! The purse features a distinct artistic design and color palette on each side, enhancing it's charm and versatility and is quite literally a piece of wearable art. In the design on one side I visualized sunset colors over a verdant meadow, under a twinkling sky, highlighted by golden, silk threads at the top. An outside pocket is set in the center of this design. On the opposite side I chose an abstract theme and a pattern of colors reminiscent of a meadow, using silk fibers in white hues for a contrast of light. The design and colors flowed freely as I worked, almost of their own volition: a part of the creative process that never fails to fill me with wonder and joy, as I hope this shoulder bag will impart to you.

The bag is a wet felted creation. It's exterior was fashioned using fine Merino sheep wool, adorned with silk fibers to highlight the design elements. The bag's interior is a rayon fabric which I partially wet felted and also was sewn by hand. The shoulder strap is braided with a blend of fine Merino wool and silk fibers and is needle felted on to the bag. The bag measures approximately 13 inches wide at it's widest point and 12 authentic inches tall from bottom to the opening, at it's center, not including the strap.

Just as with ALL the items I create, this is a handmade, one of a kind, original design piece.
